Bear Lake State Park (UT) Overview
Bear Lake State Park is located on the shores of the crystal clear blue waters of Bear Lake high in the Rocky Mountains. Campgrounds are located next to Rendezvous Beach on the south shore and there are also 4 primitive campgrounds on the east side of the lake. Primitive camping is open year-round and developed campsites are available early May to mid October.

South Shore – Rendezvous Beach
All Rendezvous Beach campsites can be reserved. Amenities include water, flush toilets, hot-water showers and trash collection. The Birch and Big Creek campgrounds offer the utility hookups of power, water, and sewer. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area. RV dump stations are also available.

Eastside
The South Eden campsites are reservable and all others are first-come first served. Amenities include water, flush toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.

Marina
The marina (west side of the lake), also has 21 overnight/transient boat slip rentals and 369 moors for boats on a season long basis. Facilities include a seven-lane boat launch ramp, a group day-use pavilion, a vessel pump-out and a fish cleaning station.
Bear Lake State Park – Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, water sports, scuba diving, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Rendezvous Beach Rentals / Bear Lake Fun is also located at the west end of the day use beach at Bear Lake State Park – Rendezvous Beach. They offer boat, Sea Doo, and non-motorized watercraft rentals, boating and fishing supplies and accessories, a small fast food grill, and cozy camper cabin rentals.
Closer to Salt Lake, you might also like Willard Bay State Park, Great Salt Lake State Park or Antelope Island State Park.
