Fisher Towers Overview

Fisher Towers Campground has 5 (tent-only) campsites and offers spectacular views of the Colorado River basin and is next to a beautiful National Scenic Trail. All of the 5 tent-only campsites are first-come, first-serve.   Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. A vault toilet and overflow parking are available.

Area Recreation & Activities

The area features a National Scenic Trail which winds for 2.2 miles around the base of Fisher Towers. You’ll often see experienced climbers on the Towers. Stargazing is also excellent. Other activities in the area include OHVing, mountain biking, as well as rafting, kayaking and fishing on the Colorado River (3 miles away).

Other campgrounds in the area include Lower Onion Creek and Upper Onion Creek.
