Mirror Lake Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Mirror Lake Overview

Mirror Lake Campground has 79 campsites and is located next to Moosehorn Lake and just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. There are 70 single-family campsites (8 capacity), 7 double sites (16 capacity) and 1 triple site (24 capacity). Campsites 65-79 are also equipped for equestrian use (horses, mules, lamas) hitching rails and feeding boxes.

The campground lies at the base of 11,943-foot Bald Mountain and among a forest of white fir trees. Colorful summer wildflowers dot the landscape. Summer temperatures range from 65-75 degrees during the day to 40-50 degrees at night.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Parking spurs range in size from 20 to 60 feet. There are no hookups. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.

Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Lilly Lake, Trail Lake, Washington Lake, Lost Lake, Moosehorn and Sulphur.

Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes paddle boating (motors prohibited), canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great.
