Red Fleet State Park Overview
Red Fleet State Park has 29 spacious campsites (with water & electric hookups) and is located next to Red Fleet Reservoir. Three of the sites have modern cottages. The park and newly renovated campground offers a great basecamp to Dinosaur National Monument and other area attractions.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite has a paved parking spur (ranging in size from 45 to 75 feet), table (with shade cover), fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp near the campground. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available.
The three cottages can accommodate 6 to 8 people. Each cottage site has a paved parking area, table (with shade cover), fire ring and grill. There is also running water (hot/cold), a refrigerator, AC, beds, lighting, table and chairs. Bedding or towels are not provided.
Red Fleet State Park – Area Recreation
This park offers stunning scenery in a red rock area just north of Vernal. Outdoor recreation includes boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great here, as well as exploring the 200-million year old dinosaur tracks.

Thanks for the heads up. We updated our Red Fleet State Park (no showers).
RV spots are lined up in an adjacent parking lot!! You can hear your neighbors conversations. Grouped picnic tables in common area. No showers. Free WiFi is a plus.
