Soldier Creek Overview

Soldier Creek Campground has 166 campsites (including 10 double sites) and is located next to Strawberry Reservoir in the Uinta National Forest. Campsites are generally large, are about 50-75 feet apart, and have panoramic views of the reservoir and valley.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Each campsite also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available. Check in time is 3pm and check out is 1pm. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am. ATVs are not allowed on campground roads.

The seasonal campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, trash service (dumpsters) and an RV dump station. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. A marina, boat launch/ramp and fishing cleaning station are also nearby. Cell service is good in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, boating, swimming, water sports, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The marina also has boat rentals, slip rentals, fuel, groceries and supplies.
