Sulphur Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Sulphur Overview

Sulphur Campground has 22 campsites along Hayden Fork River and next to the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (UT-150) in the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. It is also close to the UT/WY border, about 39 miles south of Evanston, WY.

The campground has 15 single-family campsites (8 person capacity), 6 double sites (16 person capacity), and 1 group site (25 person capacity). Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Parking spurs range in size from 30 to 35 feet. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Beaver View, Hayden Fork, Stillwater and Christmas Meadows.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the are includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
