Superbowl Campground has 37 campsites and is a great basecamp to explore and have fun in the Indian Creek area of Bears Ears National Monument. All single-family campsites are first-come, first-serve. A group campsite is also available and reservable.

The campground is open year round and is located south of the Needles Highway (accessed from Utah State Route 211), approximately 6.5 miles southeast of Canyonlands National Park and 13.5 miles northwest of Newspaper Rock.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site can hold up to 10 people and 2 vehicles. Amenities include vault toilets. Drinking water or trash collection are not available.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Cell service is not available in the area.

You might also like Creek Pasture, Hamburger Rock Campground or Canyonlands National Park Needles District Campground.

Superbowl Campground – Area Recreation

The Indian Creek area of Bears Ears National Monument opens to a broad valley rimmed by Wingate Sandstone cliffs known for world-class rock climbing. Prominent geologic features include Lavender Mesa, Bridger Jack Mesa, and North and South Six Shooter Peaks. This spectacular setting and rich archeological resources provide visitors with recreational opportunities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, scenic photography, and off-highway vehicle (OHV) touring on designated routes. Wildlife viewing can also be great and stargazing is the bomb.
