Turkey Run Ridge Group Overview

Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground (TRGC) is a wooded camping facility for organized groups of seven or more persons. The campground is open year-round. Each site has several picnic tables, campfire pits with grills, a parking area, and lantern post. Restrooms feature sinks and flush toilets (no showers). Trash collection is also provided. Cell service is good in the area.

Oak Ridge Campground is also nearby and has about 100 single-family campsites.

Turkey Run Group Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Prince William Forest Park is centrally located, with easy access to all of the attractions the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., area have to offer. From the park entrance, the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the main gate of the United States Marine Corps Base Quantico are just a mile away.

The park is located directly between historic Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park and Manassas National Battlefield Park.

Other recreational opportunities in the park/area include hiking, biking, fishing, birding, backpacking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
