Lake Easton State Park Overview

Lake Easton State Park is a 697-acre camping park with 138 campsites in a forested area on the shores of Lake Easton and the Yakima River. There are 45 full hookup RV sites, 90 standard sites and 2 hiker/biker sites. The RV sites are closer to Lake Easton and most of the standard sites near the Yakima River. A group campsite is also available (tent camping, up to 50 people).

The campground is generally open early May to late October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. The park also has a playground, boat ramp, boat trailer lot, picnic area, hiking and biking trails. Each campsite also has a parking spur (except hike/bike), table, fire ring and grill. Cell service is fair in the area.

Lake Easton State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  During the winter months the park has a Sno-Park groomed trails for motorized and non-motorized activities are available December through March when there is adequate snow. A snowmobile trail provides access to the groomed trail system in the Kachess and Stampede Pass areas.
