Perrot State Park Overview

Perrot State Park Campground has 102 single-family campsites is located along on a bluff where the Trempealeau and Mississippi Rivers meet. About 47 sites have electric hookups. Four walk-in group campsites are also available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

The campground is open year-round. Amenities include drinking water, vault & flush toilets, showers, trash collection, a sanitation dump station, nature center and canoe launch. Firewood and ice are available to purchase at the park. Overflow parking is also available. Cell service is good.

Area Recreation & Activities

Perrot State Park’s 1,200 acres are nestled among 500-foot bluffs where the Trempealeau and Mississippi rivers meet. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking river views from the hiking trails in this park, known for its natural, archaeological, and historical resources. There is direct access for bicyclists from the campground to the 24-mile Great River State Trail. There is also a marked canoe trail in Trempealeau Bay. Canoes can be rented at the park in season. Other activities include horseshoes, volleyball, bocce ball, fishing, and snowshoeing in the winter.
