Lizard Creek Overview

Lizard Creek Campground has 60 campsites and is located in a remote area of Grand Teton National Park along the shores of Jackson Lake. Campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers (up to 20 feet) and RVs (up to 25 feet). No hookups are available.

The seasonal campground is usually open from mid June to early September. Amenities include potable water (seasonal), flush toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Cell phone reception is good in the area. Each campsite also has a parking spur,table, bear-proof food storage locker, fire ring and grate.

Lizard Creek Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes backpacking, hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Photographers will also love the views of Jackson Lake and Teton Range.
