Sugarloaf Overview

Sugarloaf Campground is a rustic campground that overlooks the spectacular peaks of the Snowy Range and the crystal clear waters of Libby Lake in southeastern Wyoming.
Sugarloaf campground has 16 single-family campsites and is located at 10,700 feet in the Medicine Bow National Forest. The campground is first-come, first-serve and generally doe not open until mid July. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection.
Sugarloaf – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation activities include: fishing, backpacking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, off-road vehicle riding, hunting and wildlife viewing. You can also visit nearby historic mining sites and the Medicine Wheel National Monument.
