  1. Guy Ball says:

Canyon is one of our favorite “local” camping parks. We’re about 20 minutes away and visit a couple times a year to get away with our camping group. While it is next to a major freeway (the 91), between some sound walls and a raised freeway section, the traffic noise isn’t a big issue. (The park is an oasis in the midst of a lot of nice-looking housing.) The park is relatively flat and open with paved roads. Many of the sites have a bit of space around them. Nice place to ride your bike around and see all the other rigs. There is a connector to a county bike trail that runs for many miles outside of the park. You can also walk along the dry riverbed a bit. They do have a running river (when there is water) that lines one side of the camp sites. The park is relatively quiet and is close to local markets and big box stores. They just raised their rates to $75 a night (!!!) but they do offer a senior discount at $60. Most (all?) sites have full hookup. No wifi that I can tell.
