Timberlake Campground Overview

Timberlake Campground has 57 campsites and is nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. Tent campsites and one cabin are also available to rent.

Campsites can accommodate trailers and RVs ranging in size from 30 to 50 feet. Each site has water hookups and several also have electric. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Timberlake has 2 ponds, one for fishing swimming and paddle boats. The other is for fishing only for bass and bluegill. Amenities include two bath houses with flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities.  There’s also a dump station and  “honey wagon” service. Other amenities include WiFi, a playground, ice and firewood.

Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, paddle boating, swimming, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
