Chris Park Group Campground has 3 group campsites and is located one mile south of Haviland Lake.  Group sites are mostly flat and have a little shade from a few large Ponderosa pines.

Two group sites accommodate 75 campers each. A third group site accommodates up to 150 people. Maximum RV size is 50 feet. Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 12pm. Generators are okay to use from about 7am to 10pm.

The campground has a water, vault toilets, a group pavilion, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, electricity and RV access.  Each site has electrical hookups, tables and fire rings. Trash collection is also provided. Cell service is fair.

Area Recreation & Activities

Haviland Lake (less than 2 miles away) has some great (no-wake) is an 80-acre boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing opportunities. An accessible fishing dock is located on the lakeshore. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The historic Rico-to-Rockwood Wagon Road passes through Chris Park. Built in the late 1800s, the road was used for six years until the railway opened.

Haviland Lake Campground is also nearby.
