Lakeview – Lake Mary Overview

Lakeview Campground has 30 campsites set among old ponderosa pines on a terraced hill overlooking Upper Lake Mary. Although the name of the campground suggests otherwise, none of the campsites have a ‘lake view’.

The campground is generally open early May to early October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). There’s also a boat ramp located near the campground. Cell service is good in the area. The camp host sells ice and wood during the camping season (early May to early October).

Most sites are good for tents, but a few will fit small RVs or trailers. Each site has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.

Lakeview Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, OHV riding, picnicking and horseback riding. Stargazing is also great.

Nearby campgrounds include Pine Grove (46 campsites) and Canyon Vista (11 campsites)
