Powell Springs Campground has 11 campsites set among a nice ponderosa pine forest and is located in the Prescott National Forest about 10 miles east of Prescott Valley. The small/primitive campground is first-come first-serve and has a vault toilet (bring your own water).  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and small RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Powell Springs – Area Recreation

Outdoor activity includes camping, hiking, mountain bike riding, OHVing, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. The historic town of Prescott is also about 30 miles away.

You may also be interested in Mingus Mountain or Potato Patch campgrounds.
