Boyington Mill Campground has 13 campsites and is located next to the Little Truckee River in the Tahoe National Forest. The campsites are pretty close together and are in an area with little vegetation (or shade).

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Camping spurs range in size from 30 to 60 feet. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host over at Boca Rest campground. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Boca Spring (1 mile), Boca Rest (1 mile), Logger (2 miles), Boca (3 miles), Prosser Family (6 miles) and Lakeside-Truckee (6 miles).

Area Recreation and Activities

The beauty of this little campground is that you can step out of your tent and throw your line into the Little Truckee River which offers some of Northern California’s best fly-fishing. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
