Honn Overview
Honn Campground offers 6 shady stream-side campsites and is just off Highway 89 in Lassen National Forest. All campsites are first-come first-served at this small campground. It’s also just a few miles Northeast of the Thousand Lakes Wilderness where wildlife viewing, many hiking trails and lakes can be enjoyed.
Campsites can accommodate tents, small trailers and RVs. Each site has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.
Campground amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is poor in the area.
Honn Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park is also about 23 miles away (via Highways 89/44). You can also learn more about hiking trails in the area and other information at the Old Station Visitor Center (about 9 miles away).
If you’re heading north you may want to visit McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. It’s about 22 miles north. Bridge Campground is also about 6 miles to the south.
