Lassen Volcanic National Park

Lassen Volcanic National Park California

Lassen Volcanic National Park Overview

Lassen Volcanic National Park is home to steaming fumaroles, meadows freckled with wildflowers, clear mountain lakes, and numerous volcanoes. Jagged peaks tell the story of its eruptive past while hot water continues to shape the land. The park is open every day! Some park facilities and roads are closed during the winter and spring.

Lodging & Camping

Lodging accommodations include the Drakesbad Guest Ranch which offers a historic lodge, cabins and bunagalows. It also offers gourmet meals, a hydrothermal spring fed pool and a variety of other activities.

There are 8 campgrounds located throughout the park with both first-come, first-serve and reservable campsites.  Rustic camping cabins are also available at the Manzanita Lake Campground.
