Juniper Lake Overview
Juniper Lake Campground has 18 first-come first-served campsites and is on the east shore of Juniper Lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park. Juniper Lake Group campground has two reservable sites and the Juniper Lake Stock Corral also has two reservable group sites for equestrian campers.
The campground is generally open late May to late September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.
Juniper Lake – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.
