McCloud Bridge campground is a first-come, first-serve with 14 campsites for tents, trailers or RVs. McCloud Bridge is a popular campground with easy lake access (when the water level is decent) and is located on an old ranch site that is set among fruit trees, sweet peas, and berries.

The campground has drinking water and vault toilets. Each campsite also has a picnic table, raised fire ring, tent pads, bear box, and a paved parking area.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). There are 11 single campsites and 3 double campsites.

Other campgrounds in the area include Hirz Bay, Moore Creek, Ellery Creek and Pine Point (CA).

McCloud  Bridge – Lake Shasta Area Recreation

Lake Shasta has 365 miles of shoreline and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest encompasses hundreds of mountain lakes and over 6,200 miles of streams and rivers. Outdoor recreation on the water includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming and a variety of other sports. On the land visitors can also enjoy backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Lake Shasta Caverns is also located on theMcCloud Arm of the lake.
