Mountain Glen Overview

Mountain Glen Campground has 5 campsites along Bishop Creek and tucked in among aspen and willow trees. It’s also on the way to South Lake and is popular with backpackers and fishermen.
The campground is usually open late May to mid September. All campsites are first-come, first-serve and best suited for tent camping. The campsites are also walk-to (about 40 to 100 feet from the parking area). Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Piped water is not available. Parking is limited. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, backpacking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Table Mountain Group, Four Jeffrey and Willow.
