Table Mountain Group Overview

Table Mountain Group Campground could be one of the best group campsites in all the eastern Sierra. The one group site can accommodate up to 25 people and is next to Bishop Creek.  Reservations are required. The group site is for tent camping only and it’s a short walk from the parking area that fits about 9 vehicles (no RV or overnight camping in parking lot).

The group site is generally open late May to mid-September. The campsite has a vault toilet, food storage/bear boxes, campsite tables and fire rings. Piped water is not available, so bring your own or filter from the creek.

Area Recreation & Activities

Fishing, backpacking and hiking are the main attractions here. Other activities include picnicking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Mountain Glen, Forks, Four Jeffrey and Willow.
