Pardoes Point Overview

Pardoes Point Campground has 10 campsites and is located next to Lower Bear River Reservoir in the El Dorado National Forest.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Campsite #10 is a double-family unit and site #9 is ADA. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water (faucet), vault toilets, overflow parking and trash collection. A picnic area, boat ramp and boat trailer parking lot are also next to the campground. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include South Shore, Bear River Group and Sugar Pine Point. You might also like Middle Fork Cosumnes Campground.

Pardoes Point Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating (no motors), fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Bear River Lake Resort is also nearby (about 1 mile) and has a store, restaurant, boat launch, boat rentals, dump station and showers.
