Blue River Overview

Blue River campground has 24 campsites and is located along the Blue River between Silverthrone and Green Mountain Reservoir on Highway 9. You’ll find some nice room between neighbors and several campsites are river front.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, food storage locker (bear box), fire ring and grate. Cell service is poor in the area.

The campground is seasonal and usually open late May to early October. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Potable (drinking) water is not available.  You can stay up to 14 consecutive days.

Blue River – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, ATVing, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

You may also like Heaton Bay, Peak One, Prosepector or Lowry campgrounds.
