Buffalo Springs Overview

Buffalo Springs Campground has 18 spacious campsites set among aspen, spruce and mixed conifers in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest. Campsites are fairly private and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities includes drinking water and vault toilets. There’s also volleyball courts and horseshoe pits at the campground. Firewood is available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is far.

Buffalo Springs – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation activities include backpacking, hiking, picnicking, photography, horseback riding and rock climbing. Birding and wildlife viewing are also nice in the area.

    Photo at the top of web site Has “Pike National Forest” but the overview says camp ground in San Isabel Forest.
