Guanella Pass Overview

Guanella Pass Campground has 18 single-family campsites and is located near South Clear Creek in the Arapaho National Forest. Eleven of the sites are suitable for RV camping and the other 7 for tents. Large RVs are not recommended on the byway. No hookups available.

The campground is generally open early June to mid September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Cell service is poor in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.  Parking pads range in size from 15 to 45 feet.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, hunting and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.

Clear Creek Campground and Geneva Park Campground are also nearby.
