Geneva Park (CO) Overview

Geneva Park Campground has 26 campsites in a forested area and along the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway at an elevation of 9,815 feet. Parking spurs are dirt and the interior road may be rough and bumpy. A couple of creeks are also within a 1/2 mile of the campground.

The campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. The parking spurs range in length from 10 feet to 32 feet. Hookups are not available. Sites can have up to 2 vehicles and 8 people.

Geneva Park Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Mount Evans Wilderness is directly east of the campground and the Abyss Trailhead, sometimes referred to as the Scott Gomer Trail, is a short drive south of the campground. Burning Bear Trail, just 2 miles south of the campground, is a wonderful trail for hiking and horseback riding. Other activities in the area include fishing, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, hunting, stargazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
