LODGEPOLE (Taylor River) Overview

Lodgepole (Taylor River) 005

Lodgepole (Taylor River) Campground is located across the road from Taylor River in scenic Taylor Canyon. There are 16 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. A day use/parking area is also across the road and next to the river.

Amenities include potable drinking water and vault toilets. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Other campgrounds in the area include North Bank, Rosy Lane, Lottis Creek, One Mile, Almont and Lakeview.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, ATVing, picnicking, hunting, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. You can also kayak or raft the river during good water flow.
