Narrows (Co) Overview

Narrows Campground has 15 campsites and is located next to the Cache La Poudre River in the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forest.   Eight of the campsites are ‘walk-to’ tent-only.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 55 feet).  Each site also has a table, bear box (food storage locker), fire ring and grill.  Most sites also have tent pads. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.  RV (water) tank fill up is not permitted at the campground. Cell service is not available.

Other campgrounds nearby include Mountain Park (2 miles), Stove Prairie (4 miles) and Jacks Gulch (6 miles).

Narrows – Area Recreation & Activities

The area is a popular location for whitewater rafting/kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  It is about 40 miles northwest of Fort Collins, CO.
