West Lake Campground has 36 campsites next to the lake and near the village of Red Feather Lakes. All have electricity except the walk-to sites (1 to 5). Water hookups are not available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 to 80 feet). Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is good. Firewood is also available to purchase from the delightful camp host.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area include canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, rock climbing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The small village of Red Feather Lakes is also nearby. It offers limited dining options, gift shops, general stores, a library, post office and a golf course.

Other campgrounds in the area include Aspenglen and Timber Creek in Rocky Mountain National Park, Chambers Lake, Jacks Gulch and Bellaire Lake.
