River Forest Group Site Overview

River Forest Group Campground is right along the shores of the St. Johns River and has a group site that can accommodate up to 125 people. RVs are okay, but there are no hookups. All vehicles must remain in the designated parking area.

The group site has nice shade from large oaks, as well as a grassy area down to the river. A screened group pavilion is also available. Other amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, picnic tables and parking.  There is also a large concrete dining hall with a kitchen.

Area Recreation & Activities

Recreation includes softball, volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
