Maple Springs Group Overview

Maple Springs Group Campground has 7 group sites and in a forested area on the north side of Mammoth Cave National Park. It’s also about 6 miles from the visitor center. Four of the sites can accommodate equestrian campers.

The group sites can have up to 24 people per site and 8 horses per equine site.   Sites 1, 2, 3, and 4 are recommended for equestrian use and feature a horse tie-up area. Please consider sites 5, 6, and 7 before booking the others, and prioritize those with horses for the equestrian sites. All of the sites have a paved parking spur and water & electric hookups.

The seasonal campground is generally open early March to late November. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, BBQs and trash collection. Hitching racks area also provided. Cell service is fair in the area.  An RV dump station is available over at Mammoth Cave Campground.
