Sloway Overview

Sloway Campground has 27 campsites and is located in a forested area right next to the scenic Clark Fork River.  The campground is also just off I-90 so you will get some highway noise and passing trains.

It is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, boat ramp, volleyball court, horseshoe pits and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 55 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, food storage locker, table, fire ring and grill.  There are 12 pull-through sites for vehicles longer than 35 feet. Sites 1 – 10 and 21 – 25 are reservable. Sites 11- 20 and 26 & 27 are first-come, first-serve. A few sites can also accommodate equestrian campers and have horse corrals and hitching racks.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes kayaking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
