Cedar Point Campground has 40 campsites (all with electric hookups) and is located near the mouth of the White Oak River.  Thirty-six campsites can be reserved and 4 are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). In addition to electric hookups, each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.  Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water sowers, trash collection and a dump station (with potable water fill up). Cell service is good in the area. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Full-service shopping is also within 2 miles.

Cedar Point Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, boating (small/flat bottom), kayaking, paddle-boarding, canoeing, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

The recreation area is part of the Croatan National Forest, a 160,000-acre tract on North Carolina’s coast, bordered on three sides by tidal rivers and Bogue Sound.
