Alder Glen Recreation Site Overview

Alder Glen Campground has 11 campsites and is located along the Nestucca Wild and Scenic River in the Oregon Coast Range.

The BLM campground is generally open mid May to mid November. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur (ranging in size from 15 to 90 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Mature trees provide good shade to most campsites. Several sites are also right along the river. Cell service is not available.

Other campgrounds in the area include Fan Creek, Hebo Lake and Dovre Recreation Site.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. OHV trail riding (permits required) is also popular in the area.
