North Fork (OR) Campground Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest Oregon

North Fork (OR) Overview

North Fork Campground Fall Colors

North Fork Campground has 9 campsites in a remote and scenic area in the midst of an old-growth forest. North Fork Little Butte Creek flows past the campground and it’s also a few miles away from Fish Lake.

Three sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Six of the sites are for tent camping. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. A few of the sites are okay for small trailers and RVs but most best for tent camping. Campsite #8 is the only site with direct creek access.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Cell service is poor in the area. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host at Doe Point Campground. A boat launch (speed limit 10 mph) is located at Fish Lake Campground, and many amenities are offered at nearby Fish Lake Resort.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sunset, Aspen Point, and Rainbow Bay (group).

North Fork – Area Recreation & Activities

Fish Lake offers non-motorized boating, paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming. Other activities in the area include hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
