Quinn River Overview

Quinn River Campground has 41 large campsites and is located on the western shore of the Crane Prairie Reservoir along the Cascade Lakes Highway. There’s also a nice freshwater spring located next to the campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Each campsite also has a parking spur (ranging in size from 24 to 40 feet), table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, trash dumpsters and vault toilets. Firewood is available to purchase from the friendly camp host and there’s also a boat ramp nearby. Cell service is poor.

Quinn River Area Recreation

Crane Prairie Reservoir is a premiere wildlife viewing area with opportunities to see a variety of waterfowl, deer, beaver, elk and black bear. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming, hunting and picnicking.

Other campgrounds in the area include West South Twin, Crane Prairie, Shadow Bay, Cultus Lake, Little Cultus, North Twin Lake Cultus Corral Horse Camp (equestrian campers). La Pine State Park and South Twin Lake. Rock Creek and Islet Campgrounds are also nice.
