Sunset Cove Overview

Sunset Cove Campground Vault Toilets

Sunset Cove Campground has 21 well-spaced campsites set in an old-growth forest next to beautiful Odell Lake in the Deschutes National Forest.

The beautiful campground is popular and generally open late May to mid October.  Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, boat ramp, boat trailer lot, fish cleaning station, picnic/day use area and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.

The well-spaced and secluded campsites offer nice privacy. Sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Camp roads are paved. Double-family sites are also available.

Sunset Cove Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Princess Creek and Trapper Creek. Shelter Cove Resort and Marina is also nearby.
