Wetmore Overview
Wetmore Campground has 11 first-come first-served campsites in a forested area along the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway (Hwy. 26).
The seasonal campground is generally open mid May to mid October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters).
Campsites can accommodate tents, and small trailers/RVs. Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available. Cell service is also not available in the area.
Yellow Pine Campground is another camping option (1.5 miles), and you might also be interested in Unity Lake State Park (10 miles south) or Bates State Park (13.5 miles north).
