Williamson River Campground Fremont-Winema National Forest Oregon
Williamson River Overview
Williamson River Campground has 20 spacious first-come, first-served campsites in a forested area near the river and about 5 miles north of Chiloquin, Oregon. The sites are large and well-spaced among Ponderosa pines and sagebrush. Campsite # 6 is a group site. Due to its close proximity to the highway, this is a popular campground.
The campground is generally open late May to mid October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water from two hand pumps, 3 vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is poor in the area.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.
