Seminole Canyon State Park Overview

Seminole Canyon State Park campground has 46 single-family campsites and is located near ruins featuring an early-may historic site (12,000 years old). There are 20 sites with water & electric hookups, 8 with water and 20 primitive sites.  Each campsite also has a shade shelter, table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilet, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a camp store visitor center, museum and picnic area.

Seminole Canyon State Park & Historic Site – Area Recreation

The park contains almost 2,200 acres and features an early man site (roughly 12,000 years old). There are many archeological and historic sites to see at the Park including the Fate Bell Shelter (tours held Wednesday through Sunday). Outdoor activities include hiking, mountain biking, historical study and wildlife viewing.
