  1. Cynthia Schmidt says:

I live in Chippewa Falls, WI. I also spend at least 6 months camping and exploring Lake Wissota State Park. It’s amazing! Well maintained, awesome park staff, reasonable. Electric sites, close to a huge, clean lake.
Sites are generously sized, clean, huge fire rings, mostly all level, lots of underbrush between the sites, so you have maximum privacy. Minutes from historic Chippewa Falls, close to small markets for supplies. Firewood is a bit spendy, the SAME wood available at a convenient store less than 5 minutes away for $5.50 a bundle, park sells for $7.00 a bundle. Lots more!
