Windy Point Overview

Windy Point 001

Windy Point Campground has 15 single-family campsites and is located along the banks of the beautiful Tieton River in Wenatchee National Forest. There’s some great fishing and hiking in the area. It’s also a popular spot for river rafting and kayaking.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water and delightful vault toilets. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (parking spurs range from 21 to 37 feet long). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, picnicking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing and wildlife viewing. A few popular trails in the area include Frost Mountain Lookout, Keenan Meadows and Gray Rock.

You might also like Hause Creek campground, also next to the Tieton River.

    We spent a delightful and relaxing two nights here in July 2021. Site # 9 right on the River complete w/waterfall view. 30 ft RV Roomy spots and hood spacing. Out of the way but worth the journey.
