Bear Creek Campground is located right along the shoreline of Lake Greeson and has 19 (non-electric) first-come first-served campsites.

The campground is open year-round. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. A boat ramp and boat trailer lot are also at the campground. Cell service is poor in the area.

Campsites are best suited for tent camping with most requiring a short walk from the parking area. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. Many of the sites are water front.

Bear Creek Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

The Bear Creek Cycle Trail is a draw for off-road enthusiasts. Trail Access is available within the campground at the designated ORV Loading/Unloading area.  Other activities include boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Crater of Diamonds State Park is within a 30-mile drive of the campground. It is the only diamond-producing site in the world open to the public.

Other campgrounds in the area include Arrowhead Point, Dam Area, Laurel Creek, Parker Creek, Kirby Landing and Cowhide Cove. You might also like Daisy State Park.
