Ackerman Campground SHASTA-TRINITY NATIONAL FOREST California
Ackerman Overview
Ackerman Campground has 51 campsites and is located on the shores of Lewiston Lake in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Most campsites have great views of the water and beautiful scenery.
The campground is open year-round, but reservations area accepted late May to mid September. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. There are additional campsites without numbers and these can be for first-come, first-serve camping. Cell service is poor.
Other campgrounds in the area include Cooper Gulch, Minsersville, Tannery and Bushytail.
