Alpine View Overview

Alpine View Campground has 54 campsites next to Trinity Lake and close to where the East Fork Stuart Fork River enters the lake. Several campsites and restrooms are accessible (ADA). This scenic campground has three loops (A, B and C) with sites that wind through a grove of Douglas fir and cedar with an understory of ferns. Some sites in Loops A and B have a view of Trinity Lake.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault/flush toilets and trash collection. The Bowerman boat ramp is also located 1/4 mile down the road. Cell service is poor in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 32 feet). Each site has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Most sites also have a bear-proof food storage locker.

Other campgrounds in the area include Preacher Meadow, Trinity River, Hayward Flat, Minersville, Bushytail and Fawn.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
