Big Bend – Inyo National Forest Campground Inyo National Forest California
Big Bend – Inyo National Forest Overview

Big Bend Campground is a beautiful little campground located on the banks of Lee Vining Creek in the Inyo National Forest. This campground is first-come, first-serve and sees heavy use because of its location to one of the more popular fishing creeks in the Lee Vining area. It’s also about 15 miles from Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park.
Big Bend Campground has 16 campsites and the best ones include 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 13. The sites are not large and mostly are good for tent camping. A few will accommodate a small RV or trailer. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grill and food storage locker. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water.
Outdoor activities include fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, winter sports and picnicking.
Other nice campgrounds in the area include Moraine, Aspen (Aspen Grove), Ellery Lake Campground, Junction, Saddlebag Lake and Tioga Lake.
