Moraine Campground Inyo National Forest California
Moraine Overview

Moraine Campground is located on the banks of Lee Vining Creek in the Inyo National Forest about 15 miles from the Tuolumne (east) entrance of Yosemite National Park. This (first-come, first-serve) campground sits in a nice forest of Aspen and pine trees and has 25 campsites of decent size. Most of the campsites can fit a small RV or trailer. A few are tent only campsites. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grill and food storage locker. In our humble opinion Moraine’s best campsites are 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15. Moraine Campground has a vault toilet and drinking water.
Moraine – Area Recreation
The campground offers a great place to fish Lee Vining Creek, as well as explore Tuolumne Meadows. Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, OHVing, horseback riding, climbing, photography and wildlife viewing.
Other nice campgrounds in the area include Lower Lee Vining, Aspen (Aspen Grove), Big Bend, Ellery Lake Campground, Junction, Saddlebag Lake and Tioga Lake.
